Measuring around Equator this is some 7.5 million miles or around 12 milion kilometers.

22. of April is known as international Earth day  and it is also an annual event, that takes place each year on mentioned date. This year it is particularly special as we mark the 50th edition of the event, first purposed by John McConnell on Unicef's conference in San Francisco. Currently 193 countries are supporting this traditional event among with numerous companies. Among them is also Hyundai, which has in recent years started to take notice on Earth and the state of the nature by focusing more and more on alternative fuels.

In fact, it is safe to say, that Hyundai is among the most advanced companies in this field and even more when we focus on fuel cell technology, where they have been active since the previous generation of Tuscon. “Celebrating Earth Day 2019, we couldn’t be more proud of our NEXO and former Tucson Fuel Cell’s direct impact in reducing harmful greenhouse emissions in our planet,” said Michael O’Brien, vice president of Product, Corporate and Digital Planning, Hyundai Motor America. “As our hydrogen refueling infrastructure continues to grow in California and into the northeastern U.S., we eagerly anticipate the exponential reduction in emissions it will bring, resulting in a cleaner atmosphere for everyone.”

In fact, Hyundai has made some calculation, which showed, that all their cars, running on fuel cells (Tucson and now Nexo) has up to this date covered some 12 million kilometers, which is equivalent to driving around the world at equator more than 300 times without emitting a single molecule of CO2 or any other gas thus helping to save the Earth in the best possible way.
