At the Frankfurt motor show Audi is presenting two interesting concepts. If the first, called Acion, takes all driving duties from drivers hands, then the second one, Elaine, takes care of passengers health.
With the lenght of 5,444, width of 2,1, hight of 1,506 and wheelbase of 3,47 meters Acion is quite substantial car and dwarfs even Audi's curent flagship A8. As such it is firmly anchored in D automotive segment. Its powertrain is nothing less than all electric: four electric motors with system power of 260 kilowatts, possibility of variable four wheel drive and reach between 700 and 800 kilometers. Audi laso claims, that with the help of various sensors and network communication with other cars and infrastructure Acion will be able to drive alone and even completly avoid trafic accidents.
Its passanger compartment is extremely comfortable and seats two people with the possibility of two more, with les comfort of course. It also features plethora of connected infotainment systems and possibilities for personalization.
Elaine concept is continuation of the Audi E-Tron Sportback concept with one electric motor at the front and two motors at the rear axle. It features high level of autonomous drive but the most important is that withe the help of various sensors in passanger compartment if also takes care of passanger's health and welfare.
