For years, it seemed that Audi's electric super sporty R8 was nothing more than science fiction.

Then Audi completely halted its development, and the R8 e‑tron was at risk of an inglorious end. But with the new R8, Audi has also presented the newly-designed and technologically‑improved R8 e‑tron.

The basis of the Audi R8 e‑tron is the classic R8 Coupé. The electric R8 boasts 462 hp, but the 920 Nm of torque is even more impressive. The super sporty car will accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.9 seconds, and its top speed will be electronically limited to 210 or 250 km/h. Compared to its predecessor, the range of the car has also been significantly increased, since fully‑charged batteries will enable you to travel 450 kilometers. The capacity of the battery has increased from 49 kWh to 92 kWh. The lithium‑ion batteries can be charged in two hours, depending on the charging station.
