It's gesture- and voice-controlled, so you can keep your eyes on the road and your hands on the steering wheel.

Road accidents occur every day, many of them are caused by almost trivial distractions like changing the music channel, checking our fuel consumption or current speed, making phone calls or doing other things that make us look away from the road. Even for just a second. Many times one second is all it takes to change someone's life forever.

There is a new device called Exploride. It's able to connect with the car's on-board diagnostics (OBD), your smartphone and audio system, but it can also serve as your GPS navigational tool. All gathered data is shown on a 6-inch transparent display, which you don't need to touch or tap to control, because Exploride recognizes your gestures and your voice. Creators selected the perfect display colors to ensure great visibility against all backgrounds and road types.

Information is provided by your smartphone (it uses your phone call details and is even able to read your text messages) and on-board diagnostics (gathering speed, fuel consumption and tire pressure data). Some information can be downloaded from the internet (like music files from Spotify).

A quad core processor and 2GB of RAM make sure the device is running smoothly. It also features an integrated camera to record your every drive. It easily connects to other smart devices using Bluetooth. Thanks to 4G LTE connection, it can also function as a Wi-Fi hotspot. Pre-installed apps offer easy access to your e-mails, social media and other content.

Available in January 2016.
