Firstly, we must agree, that motorcycle world would not be the same if Harley Davidson were not around. While they are not as technologically advanced, as most of their competition, Harley Davidsons are among the most beloved motorcycles around – in the United States and around the world. The statement about being undeveloped might soon become a thing of the past as Milwaukee, Wisconsin-based company is preparing to release its first electric-driven motorcycle.

Motorcycle, which they are planning to put in production, is not a novelty itself as it has already been seen almost four years ago, when Harley Davidson organized test-drives for potential customers. As a part of promotion, Live Wire has also been included in Marvel's 2015 movie, titled Avengers: Age of Ultron. It has however showed up, that Live Wire has battery capacity that is not even nearly strong enough to be usable in everyday traffic.

Four years after and it looks like Harley Davidson has solve the problem of range and battery capacity. Company has announced, that it Live Wire will hit the production within the next 18 months. It will also stay pretty much the same, as it was four years ago. That means a naked bike with an electric motor with a power output of around 74-horse power. It will also contain a battery that will enable autonomy of at least 160 kilometers (100 miles).
