Robert Metzger, Managing Director of MunichExpo and host of the trade fairs, was satisfied with this year's edition: "We have strengthened our reputation as the world's largest and most important trade fair for electric and hybrid mobility. We have once again increased the number of visitors and we have hosted more than 400 exhibitors from 25 countries. We put the focus on international activities: In the Trade Fair Forum we hosted a two hour event with high-level speakers representing the Kingdom of Thailand as well as an evening event under the patronage of the Consulate General of the Netherlands. Furthermore, the international congress "The World Mobility Summit" which took place during the trade fairs was attended by 215 participants from 23 countries, was a huge success."
At the "eLiveDrive" test track visitors could get could first-hand experience of electric mobility – both indoors and outdoors. Electric Scooters and e-bikes as well as two Tesla-models, provided by Austria's premium e-mobility solution provider Blitzzcar were on show. The best-selling electric vehicle worldwide, the Nissan Leaf, was available for test drives as well as the Nissan eNV200 Compact Van, specifically suited for the use of commercial drivers. The eNV200 has just won the eCarTec-Award in the category "Electric Vehicle".
