The world exhibition, which takes place every five years, is located to the northwest of the city, in the town of Rho between the motorway and the new fair centre. The EXPO will be directly connected to central Milan via underground, while also being conveniently close to the Malpensa airport. The public railway company Trenitalia is planning the construction of a station for the Freccia Rossa express train as well.

The organisers expect 20 million visitors at the exhibition in the period from 1 May 2015 to 31 October 2015. There will be presentations from 147 countries, 55 of them in their own pavilion.

If you would like to talk a walk as well, the tickets are available here and the price per day for an adult is 39 euros.
