The streets of Belgium have been enriched in the past year by the picturesque street puzzles of Stefaan De Crock – Strook.
Large wooden panels, doors, furniture and other elements are recycled by Strook. He cuts the wooden pieces with an unbelievable precision and puts them together as a tangram puzzle. The pieces remain intact in the procedure so they keep their original colour and structure.
His latest project on which he collaborated with his father, the 69-year-old Mechelen Muurt, is called Elsewhere. The result of this collaboration? The pictures tell the story.
