Fuirsts chargers are going to be put up in different countries within the next weeks.

A lot of you have probably seen those white and red car chargers, spread around Europe and USA with Tesla logo on top. Few years ago American electric car manufacturer has built quite a few of them around the world and since then they have become quite popular. Now, they are getting a competition from Germany, that goes by the name of Audi, who too wants to build some car chargers around the Europe. A lot of them.

72.000 of them to be precise, all in European Union, Switzerland and we guess Norway also. Not for free of course. Audi has also prepared two packages-subscriptions. Clients will either pay 4,95 euros per month and be able to charge at 22 kilowatt output for 7,95 euros per charge or at 50 kilowatt output for 9,95 euros per charge. For customers, that are going to need faster charging there will be a more expensive package, which will enable them to charge their cars at high speed chargers with up to 150 kilowatt outputs while also use other benefits of Ionity program made by Audi. This package is going to be available for 17,95 euros per months.

Initially, Audi is going to set their chargers in 10 European countries: Austria, Belgium, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Luxemburg, Netherland and Switzerland. Later on – but still in the first quarter of 2019 – additional six countries are going to get those chargers. Later on (but still in 2019) even eight countries from Eastern Europe are going to receive their chargers.
