The Goodwood Speed ​​Festival is, as its name implies, related to speed, fast cars and racing. But not only to fast, but also to more ordinary cars, their future and the future of brands. Such was also a Polestar, which presented its first car Polestar 1.

There were also talks also about the future of the Polestar brand. In a conversation for the Autocar web page Jonathan Goodman, Operations Manager of Polestar, explained many news about Polestar 2,  probably the most expected car of the brand, which is supposed to arrive in 2019.
As it is already known, Polestar 2, loosely based on the Volvo 40.2 concept, will be a direct competitor to Tesla Model 3, in terms of size and price. According to Goodman, it will cost between 34,000 to 57,000 euros. It will have a  294 kW electric powetrain and the battery pack will provide up to 560 kilometers of autonomy.


In addition to Polestar 2, the company is also considering a third car, large crossover, which they will simply name Polestar 3. As Polestar 1 and 2 models it will also address young and successful businessmen and managers.
