Practically every salesman or a hairdresser has its own 'club' or 'benefits' membership card. Next to carrying your debit, credit and prepaid cards, your wallet is filled with these 'beneficial' ones as well. Luckily, there is one card available today, that has all the features of an ordinary card and lets you use it instead of all the others you usually wave around with. It even works on ATMs (cash machines). It's called Brilliant Card. When you get one, all you need is a mobile phone to install an app. With a special card reader all the information of your existing cards will be stored and you'll be all set to go.

Before you complete your purchase (or are about to use some sort of service), you are asked to choose the card you want to use. Brilliant Card communicates with the mobile phone and makes payments via Bluetooth. As soon as your payment is completed, you get a confirmation notice in your mobile phone app, which makes it possible for you to tag each payment as you see fit and follow your transactions more efficiently.

The security is well-provided for. The moment your app establishes that you are located too far apart from your Brilliant Card, you are prompted and the card simultaneously locks itself down. To unlock your card, you only need to touch your mobile phone (if it supports NFC) with your Brilliant Card.

Finally adieu to big, messy wallets!
