If we are to believe a Nissan's announcement, it will stop producing diesel version of NV200 van in summer and turn production only to electric e-NV200 version.

The reason for the decision to abandon  diesel versions of NV200 was the fact, that after Nissan introduced 40 kWh battery version of the light commercial vehicle, customer demand for electric versions increased substantially. There may even be a version with a 62 kWh battery from Nissan Leaf E+, but it was not confirmed yet.

Sometime from the mid 2019 Nissan also plans to introduce a NV250 light commercial van, which will share its technical components with Renault Kangoo, which, as we know, is also available as Kangoo Z.E electric version.
